Hewbury Paint® was created in Australia in 2021 by a pair of furniture painting enthusiasts, Donna and Joyce, who wanted to be able to share the best products at a more affordable price to fellow furniture painters. To achieve this, they decided on a manufacturer-to-consumer business model, thus eliminating substantial middleman costs. This is integral to their ability to maximise the amount of premium ingredients used whilst offering the highest-of-quality products at great prices!

Hewbury Paint® has a unique hybrid formula which is different to most other furniture paints in the market. It’s a clay-based premium acrylic paint which can be layered, distressed, and blended more easily than pure mineral paints. Available in more than 50 colours, Hewbury Paint® ticks all the boxes with a formula that was developed to represent all styles and painting techniques. Creating your own distinctive look and feel is super easy. You don’t have to purchase different types of paints to achieve different styles. Whether it’s modern, French Provincial, country farmhouse, a layered industrial style, or even blended ombré, Hewbury Paint® is formulated to do it all! Additionally, it’s also super durable and both UV-and water-resistant with a built-in sealer!

Hewbury Paint® is super flat, but the sheen level can be easily changed by adding a top coat which will provide even more durability. Hewbury Paint® has an excellent range of complementary products which include Extra Protective Clear Coats, available in Eggshell and Gloss sheens, Fortified Stain and Sealers (satin sheen), available in Clear and five on-trend translucent colours – Whitewash, Raven, Driftwood, Jacobean and Noode. These Fortified Stain and Sealers with an all-in-one formula are so durable that they can also be used on benchtops and floorboards. Want a softer feel? Hewbury Paint®’s hand-made Hemp Salve and Micro Wax are ideal for that! For even more choice, Hewbury Paint® is developing an oil-based sealer and scented drawer balm.

Hewbury Paint® is constantly innovating and striving for improvement. One recent range is Hi-Cover White, available in six shades of white. This formula dramatically increases coverage. Another new range is Pearlfect Metallic Paint in nine colours, formulated with the finest pearlescent mica in optimal amounts!
